Our Founder

Theo Dixon is the founder and owner of Members In Black Private Security. We have been working in the Sacramento region for nearly 25 years covering a wide array of events.

Some of which include Visit Sacramento’s Farm to Fork Festival, Downtown Sacramento's Concert in the Park, graduations, concerts, and event security at the Safe Credit Union Convention Center, Performing Arts Center and Memorial Auditorium. As well as the Hyatt Regency, and private security for a number of associations and corporate executives.

Our Goal is to protect your patrons and loved ones, because everyone has a right to feel safe.

How much does security cost?

It tends to vary for each site, the specifics of the event, and what kind of service you are looking for. Reach out to us with the specifics of your event so we can give you an accurate free quote!

How do I know if i need security?

If you are serving alcohol at any event or premise other than your home, security is required by law. You will also need security if your patron's safety is an issue or may be at risk.

How many security guards should I get?

Typically we provide one guard for every 75 patrons depending on the venue.

Do you need to do a site survey?

Yes, we typically walk the site prior to the event to check for emergency exits, occupancy, and fire inspection requirements. We also do this to order to understandwhat the client is asking for during the event.
